TURTLE TONGUE
Turtle Tongue is a buckle designed for outdoor equipment- I wanted something that was durable, easy to open (particularly when wearing gloves), easy to adjust, and rock solid under load. The name has two main origins - I chose“turtle” because of the feeling of security when the buckle is fully fastened (like a turtle tucked in its shell), and “tongue” because the buckle looks like an open mouth with a extended tongue when the male component is first inserted.
